Despite not exactly being someone on the “Progressive Left”, I still read Lauren Weinstein’s PRIVACY Forum e-mails. One of the latest one had to do with a report of an SSH vulnerability affecting Musl-based systems.
At least the clickbait seems to have given way to being more specific that it’s about Musl-based non-GNU Linux distros like Alpine rather than RHEL, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, and so on.

I haven’t exactly found anything about blame when I looked, but apparently…

Musl’s developers blamed their users for an issue they had for approximately a decade?
You also had some of your expected comments…

Of course, if you’re like me, you have nothing to worry about anyways.

So much for the anti-GNU side of Linux! Who knows what else they’ve got in their system? And, just because it was the wording used by some of their devs: what “GNU tyrrany”?

Now we have two reasons to not use Musl systems. Consider just using GNU rather than adding to the list of competing standards.
